Frequently asked questions
Medical grade refers to formulations developed under pharmaceutical-level standards: clinically tested actives at therapeutic concentrations, manufactured in FDA-registered facilities, and validated through independent in-vivo studies. Every LeLa product is formulated to this standard.
Most clients see brighter, smoother skin in 7–14 days. Visible reduction in lines, texture and tone typically appears at the 4-week mark. Our clinical study on the Age Reverse System measured results at 4 weeks.
All of our formulas are free of retinoids, salicylic acid and hydroquinone. We always recommend consulting your physician, but our line is designed to be pregnancy-considerate.
Yes. Use C+ Elixir in the evening and Insta Glow in the morning for the most balanced results. Both are part of the Age Reverse System.
We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all unopened products.
The full-size Age Reverse System contains the Calm Chamomile Facial Cleanser (6 fl oz / 180ml), C+ Elixir Serum (1 fl oz / 30ml), and Total Repair Complex (1.7 fl oz / 50ml) — enough for a full 12-week regimen. The trial kit contains smaller sizes (1 fl oz cleanser, 0.5 fl oz serum, 0.5 fl oz moisturizer) and is designed to let you experience the system before committing to the full size.
Yes, and many customers do. The Insta Glow (Lipochroman™ + Glycolipids) focuses on environmental protection, barrier strengthening, and instant radiance, while the C+ Elixir (Lilac Stem Cells + THD Ascorbate) targets deeper lines, brightness, and pores. If layering, apply the C+ Elixir first as it is the more active treatment serum, allow it to absorb for 60 seconds, then follow with Insta Glow. We recommend consulting your skincare specialist to build the optimal regimen for your skin type.
L-ascorbic acid, the most commonly used form of Vitamin C, is water-soluble and unstable — it oxidizes quickly and can cause irritation, especially at higher concentrations. THD Ascorbate (tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate) is a lipophilic (oil-soluble) form of Vitamin C that penetrates the skin more effectively, is significantly more stable, causes far less irritation, and is actually a more potent collagen stimulator. It also provides photoprotection against both UVA and UVB, which standard L-ascorbic acid does not.
Lipochroman™ (also known as Dimethylmethoxy Chromanol) is a patented, next-generation antioxidant and the strongest available for topical skin use. Unlike Vitamin C or Vitamin E, which only protect against one class of free radicals, Lipochroman™ is a triple-class protector — shielding the skin against oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon free radicals simultaneously. It has been shown in the T-Bar Assay to be 11 times stronger than Idebenone at quenching oxygen free radicals. It also provides instant calming and soothing benefits, making it ideal for redness-prone and sensitive skin.
Yes. The marine extracts used in our formulas — including Brown Algae and Undaria (Wakame) — are sourced from the coastal waters of France using responsible harvesting practices. These extracts are selected not only for their clinical efficacy as DNA modulators but also for their environmental sustainability credentials.
Chromabright™ is a tyrosinase inhibitor — meaning it reduces the production of melanin (the pigment responsible for dark spots and uneven tone) at the source. Unlike hydroquinone, which is a UV sensitizer and has associated safety concerns with long-term use, Chromabright™ has a broad-spectrum UV protective profile, making it significantly safer and more suitable for long-term daily use. It is also 50% more effective at brightening than kojic acid without the irritation.
